Happy Halloween!
Having worked very hard all morning we spent the afternoon doing some fun Halloween activities. We created 3D characters, designed masks, planned Halloween potions and enjoyed getting our faces wet dooking for apples.
Estimating Time
Although lots of people in p4b were looking a little frightening and were quite excitable today we still managed to squeeze in some maths! We used our knowledge of time to estimate how long it would take to complete certain tasks and then used
the iPads to time each other and see how close we were. We were completing activities like:
Walking round the eco garden 5 times, building a tower with 10 bricks and writing all the stations in the 3 times table. Here is a little snapshot of us in action.

Roman Entertainment
We spent this morning working collaboratively to read about what the Romans did in their spare time. We matched up the correct pictures with the text and completed a roman quiz based on our reading. We learned about chariot racing, gladiator fighting,
roman board games and theatre.
Hello to Mrs Watson!
The boys and girls in p4b were VERY excited to meet with Mrs Watson and her 2 boys on Tuesday morning. Baby Luke and Charlie were on their best behaviour.

Creative Roman Homework
We were so impressed with all the AMAZING Roman objects the children made with their families. What fantastic and creative ideas! We enjoyed sharing what we made with all the families this week. Great effort Primary 4!
Here we are enjoying looking at what some of the other classes made.
Guitar Star
Well done to Matthew for performing a little bit of guitar for us earlier this week. Keep up the hard work!

Professor Breeze Visits P4
We had a really interesting morning today in p4. Professor Breezee, who was once the chief archaeologist for Scotland, came to tell us all about roman discoveries in Britain. We all enjoyed learning something new.

Time to learn about Time!
We will be doing a maths focus on time over the next couple of weeks. Today we showed our understanding quarter to and quarter past. We played some fun games and worked collaboratively with others to support our learning.
