Buddy Catch-up
We had a lovely catch up with our p1 buddies this afternoon. The primary 4s enjoyed the responsibility of teaching the 1s how to make lovely origami Christmas cards. I was so proud of the children for being such patient and kind buddies to the 1s.

A Busy Day!
As well as our usual science, writing and maths lessons today we also learned to compose and perform our own music. As if that wasn't enough we then went on a Google expedition to Rome, Space, The Great Barrier Reef and more! It's safe to say today
was a very busy one.
Investigation Time
As a start to our textile project we have been investigating the properties of a variety of materials. Here are some pictures of us exploring these materials earlier today.
We came up with a great way of testing materials strength.

P4b visit the Mosque
We had a very interesting visit to the Edinburgh Central Mosque today. We learned lots about the Islamic faith and about all the different parts of the building. A big thank you to Haris for sharing his own knowledge with us. Here is a picture of
him reading a bit of the Quran to us in Arabic.

Roman posters
To finish off our roman project the boys and girls in p4b all did some research about a specific area of roman life. They then created individual posters showing what they learned. Finally we peer assessed each other's work. I was super impressed with
everyone's efforts. Great work guys :)
Theo's Amazing Comic
Thank you to Theo for sharing the amazing comic book he has been working on at home. We all really enjoyed looking at it.

Happy Halloween!
Having worked very hard all morning we spent the afternoon doing some fun Halloween activities. We created 3D characters, designed masks, planned Halloween potions and enjoyed getting our faces wet dooking for apples.
Estimating Time
Although lots of people in p4b were looking a little frightening and were quite excitable today we still managed to squeeze in some maths! We used our knowledge of time to estimate how long it would take to complete certain tasks and then used
the iPads to time each other and see how close we were. We were completing activities like:
Walking round the eco garden 5 times, building a tower with 10 bricks and writing all the stations in the 3 times table. Here is a little snapshot of us in action.
